Slapping Alligators

I made a phonecall this morning for business. The man on the other line, who I don't know very well, other than one face-to-face meeting and several phone conversations said almost immediatly after picking up the phone, in a strong southern accent:

"Can I call you back in a few minutes? I'm in the middle of Slapping Alligators."

I said okay.

I hope he is able to call me back soon. Alligators bite.
